My name is Suzanne and I am currently 35. I have 2 beautiful girls and a very understanding/supportive hubby. I have one cat and my daughter has a hamster called Snowy(guess what colour he is). I also have 2 rabbits that are in a pair and I foster rabbits for the RSPCA. I try and help them out as much as I can by doing home and post checks. This experience has helped me set up the guinea pig rescue.

I grew up with many pets around me. We had 2 dogs, cats, and many guinea pigs and I was also never short of a hamster or two! This I believe is where my love for anything furry has come from.

My mum also works with furries though larger ones this time as she is a puppy walker for the guide dogs.

Anyway I have always had a dream of starting up a rescue, and have now felt this was the right time. Sadly, there are many guinea pigs looking for a new home through no fault of their own and quite often not the owners fault either.

I will always quarantine the piggy for 2 weeks so I can check they are healthy, and learn more about them so they can be matched to a suitable family. All new homes will be home checked and a donation will be required. This donation is to help cover the cost of feeding and vet treatment. If you can't see any guinea pigs that you feel are suitable for you then please contact me as it could well be that I haven't put new arrivals on the adoption page
